Publications
DOCS makes it possible for physicians to be exposed to high quality, relevant instruction, and credible research
without having to leave their community through the Internet and our publications.
DOCS publishes the Great Lakes
Medical Review, the first of its kind in the area. The journal is bilingual and consists of appropriate and peer reviewed research
articles submitted by African physicians and their colleagues from the west.

Research
Research is the base for medical advancements in diagnosis and treatments. Unfortunately, many physicians
in developing countries, especially those in rural areas, have no access to this type of research and information.
DOCS is changing this situation by providing national doctors opportunities to conduct regionally relevant research.
This research is of particular interest to the local medical community as well as global health organizations. |

InfoDx
DOCS is working with the Robertson Research Institute in the development of a computerized and portable decision support tool
for national physicians that will enable them to better serve remote and rural areas.
InfoDx software will allow health
care professionals to immediately access diagnostic information in remote locations, enabling a faster and more accurate diagnosis
of patients. |
