CME's continue to be well attended.  Everyone looks forward to the day when the new Learning Center will be complete. Below is the group gathered for the cornerstone laying ceremony in April, 2003.

Dr. Louise Schnaufer stated "I think our trip to Congo was the most exciting thing I have ever done!" The DOCS teaching team is comprised of a terrific variety of medical specialists. My first trip was comprised of two orthopaedists, an internist , a pediatrician, a family practitioner, and a pediatric surgeon. We traveled to Bukavu and Isiro in Congo and Gisenyi, Rwanda for the teaching seminars. Response from the African national physicians who attended the seminars was enthusiastic and very appreciative. After 10 days of travel, we returned to the DOCS Learning Center in Goma to conclude our sessions.
